From the history of the institution, State University of Surabaya (Unesa) originated from the embryo of a course of integration of BI and B-II, which was in Surabaya into FKIP in 1960. Later in the year 1961 FKIP be integrated with PTPG FKIP Airlangga University in Surabaya, Malang Branch. In 1963 FKIP Airlangga integrate more with the IPG becomes IKIP. After IKIP standing, FKIP IKIP Malang Malang into and escape from Airlangga University.
